What is included in the cost of my registration?
Your conference registration includes full and open access to all conference educational sessions (excluding pre-conference workshops) and free social events. Conference attendees are responsible for all related expenses such as air travel, ground transportation and lodging.
Are meals included in registration cost?
The Saturday Awards Plenary Luncheon is included with your registration. If you wish to partake in this meal, please select it when you register. All other meals are on your own in Denver. Be sure to take advantage of the wonderful array of restaurants located near the conference hotel! Do I have to pre-register for the sessions I want to attend?
No, pre-registration for conference sessions (excluding pre-conference workshops) is not required. All concurrent sessions are open and conference attendees can attend sessions as room capacities allow.
Where will be meeting sessions be held?
The entire conference and all educational sessions will take place at the conference hotel – Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.
How do I get my CE credits?
AASECT will be tracking all CE credits electronically during the 2018 Annual Conference. Attendance at educational sessions will be recorded through a name-badge-scanning system at the entrance to each education session. Each attendee will have a personalized barcode on their nametag that will be scanned entering and exiting all educational session which will track your attendance.

What’s the best way to connect with people at the conference?
Students, new AASECT Members and first time conference attendees are invited to a short orientation preceding the opening plenary session. Select board and committee members will host you and provide information about the conference. Our social events and exhibit hall also provide great ways to meet people and connect with peers in the industry. Our mobile app also provides the option to message other attendees. AASECT is a friendly group, so if you see an AASECT nametag, introduce yourself!
Conference attendees may access the AASECT 2018 Annual Conference mobile app by following these three easy steps:
- Go to your App Store (Google or Apple)
- Search for the Eventmobi app (our app provider) and download
- Open the Eventmobi app and search for AASECT2018
The event app includes features such as access to the event agenda, speaker information, interactive personalized agenda, meeting maps, alerts, updates, and more! You can also use the app to connect with other attendees, presenters, exhibitors, and sponsors.
What events may my partner/guest attend with me?
Guest tickets are available for purchase for the Thursday Evening Welcome Reception Sponsored by Adam & Eve ($25) and the Saturday Awards Plenary Luncheon ($50). You will see the option to add a guest ticket to your registration for these events.
How do I find my way around on-site?
All registrants have access to download the conference mobile app available in any app store by searching for AASECT2018. We encourage everyone to download the mobile app to get the latest alerts and connect with participants on site. Additionally, you have the option to add a printed program to your conference registration ($5) which will include a schedule of events, room names, times and more!
How do I download the conference mobile app?
You can locate and download the mobile app by searching AASECT18 in any app store. The app will be updated as more information becomes available.

What is the registration cancellation policy?
All cancellation requests must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. No refunds will be given for cancellations after May 1, 2018. All requests for refunds made prior to this deadline date will be honored, less a $100 administrative fee.
